Obituary of Mabel Warren Wolfe

Mabel Warren Wolfe died in Venice, FL on December 20, 2007. A memorial service will be at 2 PM on December 27, 2007 at Farley Funeral Home in Venice, Florida. The Lord received a master gardener and the azaleas will be prettier in heaven this year. She was born October 17, 1917 in Emerson, Arkansas and was a long time resident of Shreveport, Louisiana before moving to Venice in 2000. She worked for the Army Reserves in Shreveport. She attended what is now the University of South Arkansas and was a member of the Eastern Star and Summer Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Darwin Cozad Wolfe; parents Ezekiel Wilson and Lillie Davis Warren; brothers Benjamin D. Warren, Charles Edgar Warren, Jordan B. Warren; and sisters Ethylene, Nettye, and Effie. Survivors include her two sons Kelvin “Kelly W. Wolfe and wife, Janet of Venice, FL and Darwin D. Wolfe and wife Ila, of Bella Vista, Arkansas; grandchildren Kecia Wolfe Younts of Venice. FL, Kamie Wolfe Schwier of Monticello, FL, Michael Wolfe of Dallas, TX, Angela Wolfe Riggs of Venice, FL, John P. Wolfe of Mauldin, SC, and David C. Wolfe of Denton, TX; seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to a favorite charity of your choice.
