Obituary of George R. Binkley

George R. Binkley, age 76, of Venice, Florida, passed away on December 20, 2007. He was born on May 24, 1931 in Greencastle, Pennsylvania. He retired from the U.S. Government with over 36 years of service. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Navy and U.S. Air Force Reserves. He moved to Venice, Florida 18 years ago from Greencastle. He was a life member of the V.F.W. and American Legion both in Greencastle. He worked at the Wal-Mart in Venice for 7 years. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Betty; children, George B. Binkley of Pennsylvania, Roberta Hottle of Andersonville, Tennessee; step-children, Debra Jones of Ashton, Illinois, James Grabowski, Jill Mauer, Kimberly Koch all of McHenry, Illinois; sisters, Angela College of Greencastle, Pennsylvania and Doris smith of Wichita Falls, Texas. He also leaves behind 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
