Obituary of Geni Potter

Geni Potter, 87 of North Port, Florida passed away January 15, 2008 at her home. Geni was born April 9, 1920 in the Ukraine. She moved to North Port in 1982 from Rochester, New York after her retirement from the Gerber Food Company where she was a Lab Technician for 22 years. Geni was a member of St. Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic Church in North Port. Geni leaves behind her devoted husband of 66 years Theodore, two daughters; Lee M. Sanderl and her husband Jim of Bakersfield, CA., and Romi C. Spisak and husband David of Landenberg, PA., four grandchildren; Jason and Christopher Sanderl and Adam and Kristy Spisak and one great grandchild. A visitation will be held on Friday, January 18, 2008 at Farley Funeral Home North Port Chapel from 5:00 to 7:00 PM with a Panachyda beginning at 6:30. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2008 at 1:00 PM St. Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic Church with burial following the service at Venice Memorial Gardens.
