Obituary of John G. Dorsey
John “Jack” G. Dorsey, 91, a winter resident of Venice, Florida for 25 years, died February 6, 2008. He was born September 21, 1916 in Everett, MA.
He was the youngest freshman at Boston College, attending at the age of 15. Mr. Dorsey owned the Banner Glass Corporation in Waltham, MA for 25 years. He was a member of the Epiphany Cathedral in Venice, FL.
Mr. Dorsey is survived by his son Jay and daughter in law Gail of Cape Elizabeth, ME & Venice, FL; sister Mildred Crowley of Cape Cod, MA; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Genevieve and his brothers Albert, Thomas & Edward.
