Obituary of Frances J. Kohlstedt

Frances J. Kohlstedt of Venice, Florida passed away Friday, February 8, 2008 at the North Port Pines Nursing Home. Frances was born November 30, 1915 in Wilpen, Pennsylvania. She worked for Troutman’s Department Store in Latrabe, Pennsylvania for 13 years until her retirement in 1975. She moved to Venice in 1975 from Latrabe. She was a member of both the Venice Nokomis Methodist Church in Nokomis, Florida and the Latrabe United Methodist Church, the Order of Eastern Star # 221 of Latrabe, Pennsylvania, Charter member of the Latrabe Art Club, the Labrabe Civic Club, and the Venice Area Quilters Guild. She is survived by two sons; L. David Sipe and Weldon S. Sipe, one brother; Jack E. Carns, three grand daughters; Paige, Pamela, and Hally Sipe and one grandson Adam Sipe. She is preceded in death by her husband Chris Kohlstedt.
