Obituary of Josephine R. Peale

Josephine Peale, age 95, of Venice, died on February 8, 2008. She was born on September 17, 1912 in Huntington, WV. Josephine was a graduate of Capitol University in Columbus, OH and was always active in her former husband Leonard Peale’s ministry in the Western, New York United Methodist Conference. Mrs. Peale was a charter member of the Philanthopical Educational Organization, EY Venice Chapter, and a longtime member of Grace United Methodist Church. Family members include daughter Lucy (Bob) Denler, of Venice; son Charles (Edith) Peale of Maryland; former daughter in law Anita Peale of Palm Coast, FL; granddaughter Anita Lynn (Carter) Haynes of Connecticut; and great-grandchildren Alec and Alanna Haynes of Connecticut. A funeral service will be at 10 AM on Thursday, February 14th in the Peale Chapel at Grace United Methodist Church. Burial will be private.
