Obituary of LeRoy Everett Olson

LeRoy Everett Olson, died March 1, 2008. He was born December 29, 1919 in Arlington, South Dakota. Mr. Olson lived in Green Bay, Wisconsin from 1926 to 1973, when he and his wife relocated to Venice, Florida. While in Green Bay, he was one of the founders of the O & E Machine Company; founder and operator of the Olson Machine Company; Past Commander of Ship 18 Navy Club; member of the Elks Club since 1947; member of the Masonic Lodge 32nd degree; and was a Elder of the First Presbyterian Church in Green Bay. Mr. Olson was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church and the DAV both in Venice, FL. Mr. Olson is survived by his son Peter Lee Olson of Nokomis, FL; his daughter Peggy Olson Schadler of Union, KY; and grandsons Zachary Hugo and Gabriel Hugo. He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Mae E Olson; his father and mother Lars & Emma Olson; and his sisters Ethel Kelley, Iva Pasterski, Opal Browen, Mavis Lynch & Louise DeNoble. A memorial service celebrating the life of this loving husband, father, and grandfather will be held at Trinity Presbyterian Church 4365 State Road 776, Venice, FL 34293, on Friday, March 14, 2008, at 3 PM.
