Obituary of Dennis Forest Mintz

Dennis Forest Mintz, age 60, of Jasper, Georgia and Venice, Florida, passed away on March 14, 2008. He was born in Wayne County, Michigan on May 28, 1947. He was a retired real estate agent. He has visited the Venice area for the past twenty years. He graduated with a BA degree from the University of Virginia, a member of the Big Canoe Chapel and resident of the Big Canoe Country Club in Jasper, Georgia. He is survived by his mother; Mary Lou Retty of Venice; sister, Sandra Hurt of Nokomis; nephews, Joe Hurt of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Randy Hurt of Cape Coral, Florida and a niece, Mary McMullen of Nokomis. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2008 @ 1:00PM at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Venice. Burial will follow at Gulf Pines Memorial Park in Englewood. Memorial donations may be made to the Big Canoe Chapel, 10455 Big Canoe Chapel, Big Canoe, Georgia 30143. Farley Funeral Home in Venice, Florida is handling the arrangements.
