Obituary of Liana E. Lukon

Liana E. Lukon, age 84, Beloved Wife, Mother and Nana, of Venice, Florida, passed away on March 29, 2008. She was born on February 17, 1924 in Ozone Park, New York. She moved to Venice 8 years ago from Kent, Connecticut. She was a Homemaker and a member of the Cathedral of the Epiphany, Council of Catholic Women, Opera Guild of Venice and the Red Hat Society. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, George; children, Lynne Hanrahan of New Fairfield, Connecticut, Diane Begley of Memphis, New York, Lisa Ravener of Kirkland, Washington, George N. Lukon of Arlington, Massachusetts and Richard Lukon of Pittsboro, North Carolina. She also leaves behind thirteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Brianna Ravener. A Mass will be held at 10:00AM at Epiphany Cathedral on Thursday, April 3, 2008.
