Obituary of Arthur F. Norton

Arthur F. Norton, Jr., 82 of Venice, Florida died Monday March 31, 2008 in Venice, FL. Mr. Norton was born on July 7, 1925 in Hyde Park, Massachusetts to Arthur F. and Blanche A. (Hatch) Norton. He moved to Venice 19 years ago coming from Franklin, Massachusetts. Mr. Norton retired from Boston Edison Company in 1986. He was a member of the V.F.W. Post 8118 and the Moose Lodge both of Venice and a member of Federated Church in Franklin, MA and Evangelical Covenant Church of Bay Indies, Venice, Florida. Mr. Norton was a veteran of WWII, serving with the U.S. Navy. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy M. Norton of Venice; his children, Ann (Louis) Ullucci of N. Scituate, RI.; Barbara (Stephen Pimental) Norton of Portsmouth, RI; Nancy Wasnewsky of Franklin, MA; Arthur F. Norton, III of Millis MA and Keren (Glendon) MacIsaac of Prince Edward Island, Canada; grandchildren, Louis, Mark, Jacob, Andrew, Rachel, Kara and Benjamin; great granddaughter, Audrina. Memorial services will be held on Tuesday April 15, 2008 at 2:00 PM at the Bay House at Bay Indies.
