Obituary of Hedwig Misiura

Hedwig Misiura, age 83, of Venice, Florida, passed away on April 11, 2008. She was born on September 3, 1924 in Pistyn, Poland. She moved to Venice in 1984 from New York. She was a Homemaker, member of Epiphany Cathedral and the Polish Club in Venice. She is survived by her husband, Casimir of Venice; daughter, Halina Marotta of Whitestone, New York; sons, Edward Misiura of Elmhurst, New York, Richard Misiura of Manhattan, New York and two grandchildren, Rachael Schauder of Collegeville, Pennsylvania and Matthew Marotta of Whitestone, New York. A visitation will be held on Sunday, April 13, 2008 from 1:00-3:00PM & 5:00-7:00PM at Farley Funeral Home in Venice. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, April 14, 2008, 1:00PM at the Cathedral of the Epiphany. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 1230 S. Tuttle Avenue, Sarasota, Florida 34239. Farley Funeral Home in Venice, Florida is handling the arrangements.
