Obituary of Leah T. Siegel

Leah T. Siegel, age 70, of North Port, Florida, formerly of Lebanon, Pennsylvania passed away on April 12, 2008. A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 14, 2008 @ 10:30AM at the Jewish Center of Venice. Farley Funeral Home in North Port, Florida is handling the arrangements. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Al; children, Wayne Siegel of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Wendi Erickson of Richmond, Virginia; mother, Jennie Kaplan of Sarasota; brother, Leonard Kaplan of Santa Barbara, California and six grandchildren; Shayna, Samantha, Jacob, Emma, Ana and Michael. She was born in Malden, Massachusetts on April 21, 1937. She moved to the Sarasota, North Port area 9 years ago from Lebanon, Pennsylvania. She was in Jewelry Sales. She was a member of the Jewish Center of Venice, Heron Creek Golf & Country Club in North Port, Stoneybrook Golf & Country Club in Sarasota,Temple Beth Israel in Lebanon, Pennsylvania where she also was President of the Sisterhood and she was President of the Ladies Golf Association at the Lebanon Country Club.
