Obituary of Robert H. Bruce

Robert “Bob” H. Bruce of Venice, FL passed away April 14, 2008. He was born October 10, 1922 in Springfield, IL. Bob was a Lieutenant in the U.S. Army during WWII serving in the Pacific Theatre and also was a veteran of the Korean War. He owned and operated The Bruce Lumberyard in Springfield. He is a life member of the Ansar Shrine Temple in Springfield, IL and received his 50 year pin. He also is a member at large of the VFW and American Legion. Survivors include his wife, Patricia Bruce; son, Brian (his wife, Susan) Bruce of Plano, TX; stepchildren: Larry Daum of Largo, FL, George (his wife, Kim) Daum of Ocean Springs, MS, Lori (husband, Tom) Gallagher of Troy, NY; four grandchildren: Brian, Jr., Jacqueline, Alexander and Spencer. Burial in Springfield, IL.
