Obituary of James J. Young

James J. Young, 54, of North Port, Florida died Thursday April 24, 2008. Mr. Young was born on October 20, 1953 in Rahway, New Jersey to George and Catherine (Sharkey) Young. James was a mechanic for Allied Van Lines in New Jersey before moving to North Port 17 years ago and was a partner of Freels and Young lawn service. He was an avid camper, hunter and fisherman Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Cindy A. Young of North Port; children, Jason J. Young of Venice; Shannon L. Young, Jamie L. Young both of North Port and Shane P. Young, serving with the U. S. Navy; sister, Kay LaRocque of North Port; niece, Debbie LaRocque of Punta Gorda; nephews, Clifford LaRocque of North Port and Jeffrey LaRocque of Tennessee. A memorial gathering will be held on Tuesday April 29, 2008 from 6:00 PM until 7:00 PM with a service to follow at 7:00 PM at Farley Funeral Home North Port Chapel.
