Obituary of Richard J. Smith

Richard J. Smith of Venice, FL passed away April 30, 2008. He was born January 11, 1927 in Atlanta, TX and moved to Venice from Front Royal, VA. He was employed by Aramco in Saudi Arabia for 25 years as a Drilling Supervisor. Survivors include his loving wife, Rosemary Smith of Venice; son, Lex and his wife, Sandy Smith of Strasburg, VA; daughter, Toni Smith of Front Royal, VA; two grandchildren: Nicole and Michael Smith. He will be loved and missed by all who knew him. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 AM, Wednesday, May 7 at Epiphany Cathedral. Inurnment will take place immediately following the Mass in the Epiphany Cathedral Memorial Gardens.
