Obituary of Nicholas Mark Rowe
Nicholas Mark Rowe, 22, of Sarasota, Florida fell asleep in the Lord and passed away on Saturday, September 16th, 2023 in Sarasota.
Visitation will be at 6:00 pm Wednesday, October 4 at Holy Spirit Orthodox Church at 700 Shamrock Blvd in Venice.
Visitation will be followed by a Trisagion memorial service at 7 pm at the Church, with services and visitation concluding at 8 pm. Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 5th at Holy Spirit Orthodox Church with His Eminence, +Metropolitan Jonah officiating.
Visitation will be at 9 am followed by the funeral service at 10 am. Burial will follow at Venice Memorial Gardens, 1950 Center Rd, in Venice. A Mercy Meal will immediately follow interment back at Holy Spirit Orthodox Church.
Nicholas Mark Rowe was born in Tampa, Florida to Mark and Heather Rowe on December 5th, 2000. He went to Riverview High School in Sarasota and was a member of the Riverview Kilties Band as well as the Riverview Rams wrestling team. He had a kind heart, a great sense of humor, and touched many people in his life.
Nicholas loved art and music as well as family life and church. He was a gifted artist and had aspirations to find a career that would showcase his artistic abilities. He also had a real love for musical instruments, especially guitars. Nicholas often used art and music to express himself whether in sketches, writing songs or poems, playing guitar, or formal art pieces. He had tremendous talent in art and music and they were an important part of his life.
He is greatly loved, and deeply missed. A life that touches others goes on forever.
Nicholas is survived by his parents, Mark and Heather, his sisters Noelle and Naomi, his brother Nathaniel, his aunt Erica Bowman, and his nephew Elijah and niece Marie of Sarasota, Florida.
May his memory be eternal.
Memorials may be given in his memory to Saint Joseph Orthodox Church, c/o 2422 Gulf Gate Dr, Sarasota, Florida, 34231.
