Obituary of Bobby Joe Withrow Jr.
Chief Master Sergeant Bobby "Bob" Joe Withrow, JR age 71, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, passed away on August 12, 2023, in Port Charlotte, Florida. Born on February 10, 1952, Bob was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and a man who commanded respect. He dedicated 28 years of his life to the United States Air Force, serving from 1971 to 1999.
Throughout his military career, Bob displayed exceptional leadership and a commitment to excellence. He was a Nuclear Weapons Technician, entrusted with the responsibility of ensuring the safety of nuclear munitions on the eastern front. Bob's team worked directly for the Inspector General. Bob's role also involved debriefing several Presidents and members of Congress: a testament to his expertise and loyalty. Although he rarely spoke of his accomplishments, his dedication to duty and the well-being of his fellow servicemen earned him the utmost respect. Bob's passion for the Air Force was evident to all who knew him, and his family took great pride in his accomplishments.
Beyond his military service, Bob was a natural leader. He excelled in various endeavors, including football, where he led his high school team and earned the admiration of his peers. He was also a role model for his siblings, teaching them the values of integrity and perseverance.
Bob is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Sandy Withrow, His daughter Jamie Hughes (Adrian), Stepson, Troy Hughes(Cathy), 4 Grandchildren: Christian, Noah, Jaxon and Olivia, former wife Lorie Withrow, his siblings: Michael Withrow (Phyllis), Richard Withrow (Wendy), Debbie Stofel (Paul), Mark Withrow (Lynn), and John Withrow (Lori). He was Uncle Bobby to a plethora of nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Joe Withrow, and his mother, Margaret Elinor Withrow.

He will be laid to rest with full military honors.
