Obituary of Mary Gladky Nikitin

Mary Gladky Nikitin, 93, passed away on August 5, 2023, in Port Charlotte, FL. She was born on May 20, 1930, in Ukraine to Simon and Ewhenia (Dumler) Cherwonishchenko. Mary worked on the Board of Education in Maryland and retired in 1992.

Mary attended St. Andrews Ukrainian Church in North Port, FL and would sing in the choir.

She sang like an angel and now walks among us as an angel.

She is predeceased by her husbands Kostantine Stryzak, Mike Nikitin and Alex Gladky and son John Stryzak.

Mary is survived by her children Walter (Bonnie) Stryzak, Lillian Savianeso, Valentina Stryzak, ­­­­­­­and many friends and family.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 10, 2023, from 3PM to 5PM with a Panachyda starting at 5PM. A funeral service will be held at St. Andrew’s Ukrainian Church on Friday, August 11, 2023, at 10AM.
