Obituary of Elaine Wisniewski
Elaine Wisniewski, 75, passed away on June 24, 2023, in Sarasota, FL. She was born in Brooklyn, NY on March 18, 1948, to William and Eva (Cortes) Alvarado. Elaine married Stephen Wisniewski on December 25th, 1977. She worked as a Data Processor on Wall Street and knew her way around a typewriter. Elaine devoted her life to her children and grandchildren.
She was a member of the Red Hat Ladies, enjoyed singing in the church choir, and was a 2nd mother and nana to many of her children and grandchildren’s friends. She loved playing cards and shopping with her girlfriends. Loved to play bingo and solitaire.
She will be remembered as an amazing mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. She was a beautiful soul inside and out. The lives she touched will never forget her.
Elaine is predeceased by her husband Stephen Wisniewski, son Stephen Henry Wisniewski, parents William and Eva Alvarado, and siblings William Alvarado, Bobby Alvarado, Grace Santiago.
She is survived by her daughter Mary-Ann (William Amundson) Wisniewski, Neil (Linda) Wisniewski, grandchildren Neil (Randon Hardman) Wisniewski, Jay-Joshua (Chelsea Sherman) Wisniewski, D’Ellen Amundson, Allan Amundson, Christopher Amundson, Ashlee Wisniewski, Shephen Wisniewski, Gabriella Wisniewski, Justin Wisniewski, great grandchildren Carter Sherman and David Wisniewski, and many extended family.
There will be a visitation from 1-3PM on Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at Farley Funeral Home, 5900 South Biscayne Drive, North Port, FL 34287, with a service at 2PM.
