Obituary of Mary C. Cantillo

Mary C. Cantillo, age 96, of Sarasota, FL, passed away on June 16, 2023.  She was one of seven children born in Newark, NJ on February 11, 1927 to Michael and Carmella Girandola.  Mary worked as a secretary for the Manasquan, NJ School District for 22 years, retiring in 1987.  That year, she moved to Florida from New Jersey.  She was a member of Incarnation Catholic Church in Sarasota.  She enjoyed planning and cooking large family dinners.  Mary enjoyed playing tennis, knitting and crocheting, but most of all, she enjoyed being with her family.

Mary is survived by her son, Thomas Cantillo III; daughters Diana Cantillo and Maryann Kachelriess; 4 grandchildren, Andrew Kachelriess, Carol Cantillo, Tom Cantillo IV, and Christopher Cantillo; 7 great grandchildren; sister Josephine Monticchio; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Mass will be at Incarnation Catholic Church, 2901 Bee Ridge Rd, Sarasota, FL 34239, on Tuesday, June 20^th at 9:30 am with a reception to follow.
