Obituary of David L. Wehmann

David L Wehmann, 69, passed away in Venice, FL on May 26, 2023. David, affectionately known as Dave, was born on December 21, 1953 in Newark, NJ. David graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from William Paterson University and served as a Insurance Professional most of his adult life. David served in the United States Airforce from 1973-1977 and afterwards joined the United States Reserves. He retired from the United States Army in December of 2013. Later on in life, David met Janet Munro his one true love. They spent his last couple of years loving each other, golfing, swimming, and watching the ships and boats go by at the jetty. 

He was predeceased by his father Frederick John Wehmann and his nephew Patrick Wehmann.

He is survived by his mother, June Carol Dalley, his brother and wife, Steve and Jan Wehmann, his brother and wife, Mark and Betty Wehmann, his sister and husband, Maryanne and Clay Francis, his daughter, Jaime Ellis, his sons, Craig Wehmann and Andrew Wehmann, his grandchildren, Zachary Krok, Serenity Wehmann, and Nicholas Wehmann, and his great grandchildren, Harper Krok, Kai Flores, and Maverick Krok.

David was a wise man with a great sense of humor. The glass was always half full and never half empty. He loved history, his family, and the Tampa Rays. He will be greatly missed by those who loved him. He will be remembered, as a loving partner, son, brother, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.

Services will be held on August 11, 2023 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
