Obituary of Gregory Thomas Werner, Sr.
Gregory Thomas Werner, Sr., age 64, of Venice, FL, passed away on May 7, 2023. He was born in Red Bank, NJ on June 21, 1958 to John and Geraldine Werner, the youngest of six children.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Jo Ann; and children Heather, Morgan, and Allen.
Greg worked for Sarasota County as a heavy equipment operator for 32 years before retiring. Greg was a big sports fan. His favorite teams were the NY Giants and the NY Yankees.
A memorial gathering will be held at Farley Funeral Home, Venice Chapel, on Saturday, June 3rd from 4 pm - 6 pm, concluding with a service at 6:00.
