Obituary of Nina R. Kauchak

Nina Ruth Kauchak, 85, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 in Sarasota, FL. She was born on December 31, 1937 in St. Louis, MO to Grover and Myrtle Skaggs. Nina lived most of her life in Highland, IN and attended George Rogers Clark High School in Whiting, IN. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Kauchak of 54 years. She is survived by three children: David Kauchak of Lakewood, CO, Nancy (George) Evans of Sarasota, FL, and Denis (Judy) Kauchak of Chesterton, IN; two grandchildren, Morgan & Mitchell Evans of Sarasota, FL; two sisters Joyce (Roy) Ailes of Lake Village, IN, Linda (Dave) Harder of  Griffith, IN; one brother Jack Skaggs of San Antonio, TX; several nieces and nephews. Nina loved gardening and spending time with her family and extended Kauchak family. 

Interment will be private.
