Obituary of Robert Daniel Myers
Robert “Bob” Daniel Myers age 90 of Venice, FL passed away on February 16th, 2023. He was born in Cranston, R.I. to Edmund and Grace Myers. Bob was a proud American who served in the Army during the Korean war. Bob went on to be the President of Empire City Subway, a subsidiary of New York Telephone. Bob was an Eagle Scout, world traveler, avid golfer, and member of Venice Golf and Country Club. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather to 10 grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents Edmund and Grace Myers and brother Edmund Myers Jr.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife Patricia A. Myers; daughter Debra Blair; sons Robert Myers Jr., Daniel Myers, and Timothy Myers.
A funeral mass will be held on March 23rd, 2023, at 10 am at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Venice, FL. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Bob’s name to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
