Obituary of Renee Corin Durrance

Renee “Na-Na” Corin Durrance, age 61, of North Port, Florida, passed away on February 10, 2023.  She was born on August 3, 1961 in Detroit, Michigan and moved to North Port in 2019 from Shiner, Texas.  She was a waitress and business secretary.  Renee loved to travel, spend time with her granddaughter and family.  She is survived by her husband, Jessy Durrance; daughter, Gwen (Matthew) Bennett; two sisters, April (Nathan) Vecera, Valerie Schmaltz; a brother, Neal Hull; granddaughter, Madison Brotherton; niece, Amber (Anthony) Avena and their daughter, Lucia and a nephew, Mason Vecera.  Renee was preceded in death by her father, Gale Schmaltz; her mother, Barbara Hull and her stepfather, Dave Hull.  Visitation will be held at Farley Funeral Home in Venice on Monday, February 13, 2023 from 5:00PM-7:00PM.
