Obituary of Grace C. Dieker

Grace “Gracie” Dieker, age 89, of Nokomis, FL, passed away on December 16, 2022.  She was born in Orrville, OH on March 22, 1933 to Jacob and Leona Hoover, and came to Nokomis in 1956. Gracie enjoyed working for the Venice Area Chamber of Commerce and Babes Plumbing, but her first priority was taking care of her family. She loved to travel on  AC Dealer trips with her husband Ed.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Ed Dieker; daughter Nancy Reith; sons Jeff and Scott; grandson Charlie; and two great-grandchildren, Kale and Kinsey.  Gracie was preceded in death by her daughter, Judy, two brothers and one sister.

A gathering of friends will be held at Farley Funeral Home, Venice, on Wednesday, 12/21 from 1-2 pm.  Followed by a memorial service at 2 pm.
