Pam Sandlin

Obituary of Pam Sandlin

Pamela Kay Sandlin (Bellan) of North Port, FL passed away December 3, 2022 at Empath Hospice in Sarasota.  She was born in Sarasota on January 17, 1955. She graduated from Sarasota High School in 1972 and attended Manatee Junior College.  Pam worked in the landscape and pest control business in a design and sales capacity.  There wasn’t a thing Pam couldn’t sell!

Pam is survived by her son, Kory (Christy) North Port, her brothers, Rick and Todd of Sarasota and Mark, North Carolina. Also, her best friends Sue Ambrecht and Debbie Eskew both of Sarasota, who were there for her unconditionally through this difficult last year of her life. She has aunts, uncles and many cousins that survive her. She will also be missed by her two cats, Charley, who showed up in her yard as a kitten after Hurricane Charley and Smudge who she inherited from her mom.  She was predeceased by her parents, George and Riolama Bellan and brother Timm.

Pam was an avid gardener and her yard was one big, beautiful butterfly garden.  She loved nature & wildlife. Her yard was home to families of racoons that would tap on her window for their nightly meals of cat food, bobcats who would visit and many species of birds. She loved the beach and fishing.  She loved anything and everything antique and was always on the lookout to add to her various collections and never refused a good shopping trip.
