Obituary of Andrew Gorman

Andrew J. Gorman (Andy), age 63, of North Port, FL, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at Tidewell Hospice House in Port Charlotte, FL. He was born January 6, 1959 in Rome, NY, to Raymond and Marjorie (Finley) Gorman. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and later held various sales and finance management positions in the automotive industry for many years. Andy married JoAnn (Fuller) on July 2, 1995, where he was a loving husband and committed stepfather for over 27 years. 

Andy is survived by his beloved wife, JoAnn, two stepsons, Shawn and Jason, one son, Andy, from a prior marriage, seven grandchildren, four sisters, one brother, and numerous other family members.

Andy will always be remembered by his love for sports and being a dedicated fan of the NY Giants, NY Yankees and Syracuse University teams.

Andy will be laid to rest at Sarasota National Cemetery on Monday, January 16, 2023 at 10:30 am.
