Obituary of Helen Bernice Vallelunga

Heaven has gained another angel, our beloved mother and grandmother, Helen Grdanski Vallelunga on September 5, 2022.

She was born March 12, 1922 and had just recently celebrated her 100th birthday with family and friends. She will be sadly missed but will live in our hearts forever. There was never a day gone by that she didn’t light up a room with her infectious smile and gentle words.

She is survived by her daughters Annette (Robert) Moffat, and Chris Sewalish. As well as by her sisters Bernice Marker of Port Vue, Pa, Charlotte Valecko is from Mckeesport Pa, and brother George Brletic (Rose) of  Liberty Boro, Pa. Grandchildren: Kelly (Brian) Muhlenbruch, Robert (Paula) Moffat, Joseph (Melissa) Bonqyor, Amber (Will) Fitzgerald, Kristy Cope, Tony Sewalish. Great Grandchildren: Krysta, Hannah, AJ, Brianna, Kenzie, Casen, Robbie, Bailey, Charlie, Danica, Joshua, Joseph, and many nieces and nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Vallelunga, her sister Bert Montrose, her son James Vallelunga, and her grandson Jerome Bonqyor.

A Visitation will be held on Friday, September 9 from 12pm- 1pm at Farley Funeral Home in North Port, FL. A Funeral Services will be held promptly at 1pm following the conclusion of the Visitation. Helen will be laid to rest at Venice Memorial Gardens during a private service.
