Obituary of Joyce A. Hoffman

Joyce A. Hoffman of Venice, FL passed away in her home surrounded by her loving family on August 26, 2022.

Born on March 16, 1940, in Newark, New Jersey to Kenneth Purdy and Helen Cunningham. Joyce relocated to Florida from Old Bridge, NJ twenty-three years ago. She was an Artist who specialized in many fields, but favored porcelain dolls, clay sculptures and ceramics. Joyce was also a Venetian Falls Ceramic Instructor. Over the years Joyce received numerous awards for excellence in doll making. She was also an active member of the Red Hat Society.

Joyce is survived by her children: Donna Hoffman of New Jersey, Dorie (Sean) Cleere of Florida, Deidre (Greg) Williams of North Carolina, Frank (Gail) Hoffman III of Florida. As well as by her six grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Micaela, Callahan, Frank IV, Koen and Haelee. Joyce is preceded in death by her beloved husband Frank C. Hoffman Jr. in 2004.
