Obituary of Margaret A. Dengelegi

Margaret “Peggy” A. Dengelegi, age 93, of Venice, FL previously of Freehold, NJ passed away on May 13, 2022. Margaret was born on May 29, 1927 in Perth Amboy, NJ where she served on the Perth Amboy Board of Education in 1987. Margaret was a member of St. Michael’s Byzantine Catholic Church, St. Michael’s Rosary Society, and the Moose Lodge 1308 in Venice, FL.

She is survived by her son; Gary and daughter-in-law Eva of Venice, FL; three grandchildren, David, Laura, and Eric of New Jersey; four great-grandchildren, Casie, Ethan, Claire, Aden of New Jersey. Peggy is also survived by her eight nieces and nephews of New Jersey, Missouri, Texas, South Carolina, Tennessee, Pennsylvania, and Florida.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Louis Dengelegi Jr; a son, David Dengelegi; great-grandson, Aden Dengelegi; parents, Luis and Agnes (Schaible) Pastor; sister, Catherine (Pastor) McKeon and her brother, William Pastor. Farley Funeral Home in Venice is handling the arrangements.
