Obituary of Nelda DeHaven
Nelda D. DeHaven died peacefully in Venice, Florida on the morning of Wednesday, May 11th at the age of 87. She grew up in Chicago and moved to the east coast of Florida, where she raised her three daughters alongside her husband, Jack. In her free time, she enjoyed making stained glass, doing arts and crafts, and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her three daughters, Tina, Lydia, and Kim; her five grandchildren, Erin, Sara, Holly, David Jr., and Laura; and her many great-grandchildren.
She will be remembered for her love and devotion to her family and for conquering the many obstacles life threw at her.
Nelda will be laid to rest at Venice Memorial Gardens on Tuesday, May 17th at 10 am.
