Obituary of Raymond Joseph DeMann

Raymond J. DeMann, 97, passed peacefully on March 24, 2022, in Venice FL.  Ray was born in Bloomfield, PA and in 1947 married his beloved wife Angelina (Cusumano) of McDonald, PA where they resided. After 57 years of marriage, she preceded him in death. Ray, one of seven siblings, was also preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Lena (Cole) DeMann, brother John DeMann, and sisters Ruth Morgano and Harriet Fusilli, as well special friend Virginia Comer of Venice.  Left behind to cherish his memory are devoted daughter Jacqueline (John Fibbi), special grandchildren Angela (Joel Walsh), Christopher Fibbi (Sarah) and precious great-grandchildren Natalie and Miles Walsh and Mason Fibbi.  Also surviving are sisters Rose Machi, Dorothy Anzelone, and Lillian Kims. Dear friend, Josephina Jenson of Venice FL, also survives.

Ray, a WWII Navy Veteran, enjoyed retirement in Florida after working for 37 years as a meatcutter with the A&P Tea Co. and teaching the trade for another 10 years at the Parkway West Vocational School influencing the life of many students.

Ray lived life to the fullest and was a great friend to many. His smile and twinkling blue eyes lit up any room he entered. We know he is dancing with and charming those in heaven just as he did in this life. Everybody loved Raymond.
