Obituary of Charles Cullity

Charles M. Cullity, 91, of Sarasota, FL, formerly of Venice, FL and Weymouth, MA, passed peacefully on March 11, 2022, surrounded by loving family.

He was born on September 11, 1930, in Hamilton, MA to John and Helena (Murray) Cullity. After graduation he proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1948-1952, then went on to become a police officer with the Department of Motor Vehicles where he stayed until his retirement.   

Charlie was predeceased by the love of his life, his wife, Nancy (O’Donnell) Cullity, his siblings: John Cullity, Mary Lou Plaze, Rita Purrington, Jeanne Andrews, Ruth Smith, Grace Armstrong, and Ann Demers. He is survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

He was a proud member of the VFW #8118 and American Legion #159 both in Venice, FL and the Elks Lodge #2232 in Weymouth, MA where he enjoyed the company of many friends and veterans.

Services will be held at a later date.
