Al Rogotzki

Obituary of Al Rogotzki

Al Rogotzki, 80, of Venice, Florida formerly of Bedminster, New Jersey passed away January 23, 2022, at his home in Venice with his wife Ruth Ann by his side. He was born March 11, 1941, in Teaneck, New Jersey. Al and his wife Ruth Ann relocated to Venice in 2016. He was an Automobile Industry entrepreneur for over 56 years until he retired in 2014. He served with the United States Army National Guard during the Viet Nam Era.

Al was a devoted husband of Ruth Ann for over 60 years. Loving father of Cheryl (John) Nadratowski and Tracey (Dennis) Bruzzone; adored grandfather of John, Lindsay and Steven Nadratowski and Samantha, Frank, Kaylan and Jessica Bruzzone and 7 great- grandchildren; dear brother of Leon, George (Kathy), Jim, and sister, Ann (Kurt). Al was predeceased by his parents Nick and Lucy.

Al was tirelessly devoted to the well-being of his family. He had an affinity toward others, always willing to lend a helping hand. He loved classic cars and music of the 50’s; at one time singing in his own Doo- Wop group. As a passionate sports fan, even Tom LaSorda and Peyton Manning didn't bleed as much Dodgers / Colts blue. Al was a well-rounded conversationalist stemming from his intense curiosity and his interests in a wide variety of things like history, manufacturing, construction, crafts, and natural mysteries. Al’s engaging sense of humor often made him the life of the party.

Al left a lasting impression on all who were lucky enough to cross his path. He will be greatly missed by everyone whose lives he touched.
