Obituary of Monroe L. Peters

Monroe L. Peters, 84 of North Port, FL formerly of Allentown, Pa. passed away Sunday, June 1, 2008 in Venice, FL. Monroe was born December 10, 1923 in Pennsylvania. He was a carpenter for 35 years until his retirement in 1985. He was a member of both the Zion E.C. Church and the United Church of Christ in North Port. He was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corp serving during WWII. Monore is survived by his wife of 60 years Joan, sisters, Alvena Siegfried of Allentown, Pa. and Myrna Oswald of Bethlem, Pa., one brother Carl Peters of Interlachen, Fl. Farley Funeral Home North Port Chapel in charge of arrangements.
