Obituary of Phyllis A. Verbanic

Phyllis A. Verbanic, 80, of North Port, Florida died Friday August 1, 2008. Mrs. Verbanic was born on October 17, 1927 in Tremont, PA to Paul and Ellen A. (Peters) Thomas. She was a Secretary for Forbes Metropolitan Health Center in Wilkinsburg, PA for 29 years before retiring in 1989. She moved to North Port in 1990 coming from Penn Hills, PA. Mrs. Verbanic was a member of Miflin Avenue Methodist Church in Wilkinsburg. She is survived by her daughters, Winnie L. Stocks of Orlando, FL; Donna L. Latham of Pittsburgh, PA; sister, Dorothy Kremer of North Port, FL; 5 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. A memorial services will be held on Monday August 4, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Farley Funeral Home North Port Chapel.
