Obituary of James King Morton

James King Morton, age 95, of Venice, died on February 10, 2006. He was born on September 10, 1910, and came to Venice in 1957 from Knoxville, TN. He was a salesman for Swift & Company Meats for 15 years, owner of Kings Table Restaurant in Venice for 7 years, salesman for Indiana Glass for 10 years, and had an aquarium business. He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Venice. Surviving family members include his daughter, Sharon “Sherry” Elaine Steele of Austin, TX; two sons, James King Morton, Jr. of Livingston, TN and Paul D. Morton of Tampa, FL; a sister, Emily Paulk of Willacoochee, GA; a brother John W. Morton, Jr. of Knoxville, TN; six grandchildren and seven greatgrandchildren. Farley Funeral Home & Crematory, Venice Chapel, will be in charge of arrangements
