Obituary of Paul Edward Case

Paul Edward Case, 81, Venice, died Feb. 12, 2006. Paul was born July 4, 1924 in Woburn, MA to Fred and Ida Case. He was a veteran of World War II, serving from Omaha Beach to Berlin. After a career as a pharmacist, a Fellow of the American College of Apothocaries, and banker in Reading, MA, Paul moved to Venice in 1984 and was active in real estate, followed by years of service as a volunteer at Venice Regional Medical Center. Paul was a master Mason, a member of the York Rite Bodies, Aleppo Shriner, and Royal Order of Jesters. Survivors include his devoted wife of nearly 60 years, Shirley; sons Alan of Braintree, MA and Fred of Woodland Hills, CA; and daughters Janet of Menlo Park, CA, and Eleanor of Warrington, PA; six grandchildren and one great grandchild. Visitation will be from 2 to 4p.m. today (Monday, February 13, 2006) at Farley Funeral Home at 265 S. Nokomis Ave. in Venice with services to follow. Internment will be in Reading, MA at a later date.
