Obituary of Marilyn C. Berry

Marilyn C. Berry, 75, of Venice, FL. Formally of Sarasota, died Monday, February 20, 2006, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on December 18, 1930 in Geneva, IL. She graduated from St. Charles High School in 1949. Mrs. Berry was employed by Illinois Bell Telephone Company as an operator for several years. She and her husband Wallace and their family moved to Sarasota, FL in 1975. While living in Florida, Marilyn was employed by GTE for over 15 years. During that time she continued her contacts with her many close friends and family in the Fox Valley area in Illinois. She is survived by five children; Catherine (Dann) Villwock, Geneva, IL; Susan Rule, Sarasota, FL; Michael (Robbin) Berry, Sarasota, FL; Timothy (Jennifer) Berry, North Aurora, IL; and William Berry, Sarasota, FL; 15 grandchildren, Shaun, Brian, Shea, Michael, and Patrick Villwock, Kelli, Patrick, and Katie Rule, Timothy and Sheila Berry, Kiley and Matthew Berry, Regan Rule, Alyssa and Amber Berry. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace L. Berry in 1986 and her close friend, Marvin Schlesinger in 2005. Graveside Services will be held Today, February 23, 2006 at 2:00 PM at Venice Memorial Gardens. The Reverend Neil Peterson will officiate.
