Obituary of Clifford S. Forster

Clifford S. Forster, age 83, of Venice, died on March 3, 2006. He was born in Meriden, CT on March 30, 1922. He retired as President and Mechanical Engineer from the Production Equipment Company Material Handlers in Meriden, CT in 1980. He moved to Florida in the early ’80s from Killingworth, CT, then returned to Vermont for 10 years before back to Florida in 2003. He served in the US Army during WWII in the 4025th Signal Service Group. He was a Mason for over 55 years in the Meridian Lodge 77 in Meriden, CT. Mr. Forster also belonged to the DAV chapter 101, and the NOVEL American Legion Post 159. Surviving family members include his daughters Kim Child of Venice, and Carol Jenkins of Clinton, CT; son Clifford M. Forster of Cromwell, CT; 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandsons. No services are planned at this time.
