Obituary of Kenneth Raymond Damon

Kenneth Raymond Damon, age 92, of North Port, died on March 7, 2006. He was born in Springfield Massachusetts on September 6, 1913, and came to North Port in 1975 from Wellesley, Massachusetts. He retired in 1975 as the head of Maintenance of the Dana Hall School, a private girls’ school, in Wellesley. He was a WWII Navy veteran and a Life Member of the VFW. Surviving family members include his daughters Marilyn Garlick, of North Port and Carolyn Wheeler of Natick, MA; son David R. Damon of Narragansett, RI; 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, March 11, 1 PM at Farley Funeral Home, North Port Chapel. Memorial donations can be made to the VFW Uplink Fund, 4860 Trott Cir, North Port, FL 34287.
