Obituary of Charles Edward Delury

Charles Edward Delury, 77 of Venice, Florida died March 14, 2006. He was born September 14, 1928 in Brooklyn, New York and moved to this area in 1990 from Massapequa Park, New York. He was a distribution foreman for the Daily News in New York for 30 years before his retirement in 1985. He was a member of the Epiphany Cathedral Catholic Church of Venice, American Legion No-Vel Post #159 Venice, Florida, U. S. Army Korean War Veteran and Past President of the Beach Manor Villas Condominium Association. He lost his beloved wife Grace in 1996. He is survived by his daughters Graceann Murray of West Islip, New York and Marybeth Baroletti of Massapequa Park, New York: Brothers James Delury of Seaford, New York, Arthur Delury of Levittown, New York and George Delury of Northvale, New Jersey, 5 grandchildren. The family will receive visitors at the Farley Funeral Home and Crematory Venice Chapel on Thursday, March 16, 2006 from 10 A.M. to Noon. A funeral service will be held at Noon.
