Obituary of G. Edward Hauri

G. Edward Hauri passed away in Rotonda West on October 9, 2006 he was 88 years old. Born in Chicago, IL on December 26, 1917. For 25 years he was owner and operator of the Metal Impregnating Corp. in Addison, IL before retiring in 1981. He was a long time resident of McHenry, IL and for the past ten years spent the winters here in Florida. He was a US Army veteran of the Korean War, Past Commander of the VFW Post 2801 in Villa Park, IL and a member of the Moose Lodge of McHenry, IL. He was a Lutheran. Survivors include two daughters, Joanne Lize of Rotonda and Christine Hauri of River Forest, IL; two grandchildren.
