Obituary of Clarence Lee King

Clarence Lee King, 87, of North Port, FL died October 28, 2006 He was born on May 13, 1919 in Parksville, Kentucky and moved to the area in 1995 from Howell, Michigan. He was Truck Driver for Long Transportation before retiring in 1990 after 37 years. He was a member of ST. Paul’s Presbyterian Church of North Port and a veteran of WWII serving in the Army Air Core. Survivors include his wife of 60 years Thelma; two sons, Darril and wife Peggy of Newbury Port, MA, Daniel and wife Denise of Ipswich, MA; a sister Ada Mae McMullen of Harrodsburg, KY, three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A Visitation will be held for Mr. King on Tuesday October 31, 2006 from 10am – 12pm with a service to beginning at 12:00 pm at Farley Funeral Home, North Port Chapel. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Mr. King’s name to TideWell Hospice and Palliative Care 5955 Rand Blvd Sarasota, FL 34238.
